Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't want your personal data. We only collect the minimum information needed to keep the site running and serve ads, and we don't sell anything to anyone.

What we collect

• Server logs — your IP address, browser type, and the pages you visit, held for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics — aggregated, non-identifying traffic statistics via self-hosted analytics (Matomo), so we know which pages are popular. No data is shared with third parties.
• Advertising cookies — we serve ads via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to personalize ads. You can manage these via Google's Ad Settings.

User-submitted content

Level pages include a comment section and a report-a-wrong-answer form. When you submit a comment, we store your display name, comment text, your IP address (for spam prevention), and the submission date. When you report an incorrect answer, we store the level number, your correction, and optionally your name and email if you provide them. This data is stored on our server and is not shared with third parties. No account or login is required.

What we don't collect

We have no login system, no mailing list, and no newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or share any user data with third parties. If you email us, that email is kept only as long as needed to resolve your question.

Your rights

You can clear cookies at any time via your browser settings. If you're in the EU or UK, you have the right to request deletion of any data we hold on you by writing to hello@skywordsanswers.net. We will respond within 30 days.
